Reformation OPC (ROPC) started as a Bible study in 2014, was recognized as a mission work in 2018, and held its first worship service on July 22 of that same year. We were particularized as a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church on October 7, 2022 and Rev. David Noe was installed as our minister.

Reformation OPC exists for the glory of God as a confessional, Presbyterian congregation. We minister to the Calvin University community, to southeast Grand Rapids, and to the ends of the earth with the assurance that God the Father communicates the benefits of redemption to His people through His Son by the ordinary means of grace, Word, sacrament, and prayer, in the power of the Holy Spirit. As a church, we seek to grow into the image of Christ, the crucified and risen Son of God, while waiting patiently for His return to set all things right in the new heavens and new earth.

ROPC is committed to learning, teaching, and proclaiming God’s Word to all people through the historic Reformed faith as expressed in the Westminster Standards.

Session

Christ who has instituted government in his church has furnished some men, beside the ministers of the Word, with gifts for government, and with commission to execute the same when called thereto. Such officers, chosen by the people from among their number, are to join with the ministers in the government of the church, and are properly called ruling elders.
